I am a Blogger . . . Finally!

B ehind on so many things … professionally and personally … when am I going to improve my time management skills?
L ate for almost everything anymore … my parents certainly taught me better! Sometimes I’m as slow as a turtle.
O pen to new ideas … I am a lifelong learner, and I love to try new things.
G rateful for the many blessings bestowed upon me … “Life is good!” Thank you, God!!
E xcited about learning new things … WRITING IN THE DIGITAL CLASSROOM, I anticipate, will assist me in taking my teaching to the “next” level.
R enewed in my enthusiasm for teaching … after a few challenging years, this year is so wonderful … I love my classes and want to give them my best.

  1. Nancy, I thoroughly enjoyed sitting next to you in class. I hope our enthusiasm for incorporating what we learn here rubs off on our students. I also have a renewed enthusiasm for teaching and I give them my best every day regardless of whether they give me their best back. I look forward to sharing more thoughts and words of encouragement with you!

  2. Writing about what you are learning takes you to new levels! That is why I blog and follow so many other educational bloggers. Writing opens up so many door to our inner life.

  3. I am glad you are blogging! I found that it really helped me clarify my thoughts and really reflect on my philosphy of teaching. Then when I got brave, I was able to move on to entering the conversation on other blogs. I look forward to seeing your future posts!

  4. Blogging was an place I felt I didn't want to get into. I didn't see a need or a use for it. WOW! Was I wrong. After reading Sara Kajder's books and exploring other blogs online, I find that I am now hooked on it. I'm learning more and more ways for its use with students. Isn't technology facinating!
